Eastern Region Project Planning (ERPP) is the premier government agency responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing development projects across Southeast Nigeria.

Driving Sustainable Development in Southeast Nigeria

Established in 2005, the Eastern Region Project Planning (ERPP) is a government agency under the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, dedicated to the planning and execution of strategic development projects across the five states of Southeast Nigeria: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.

Our mandate encompasses infrastructure development, urban planning, rural development initiatives, and economic empowerment programs designed to transform the Eastern Region into a hub of sustainable development and economic prosperity.

With over 15 years of experience, ERPP has successfully completed over 900 major projects, improving the lives of millions of residents across the region. Our approach combines technical expertise with community engagement to ensure that our projects address real needs and create lasting impact.

Our History

Key milestones in ERPP's journey of transforming Southeast Nigeria

2005

ERPP was established by an Act of the National Assembly to coordinate development projects in Southeast Nigeria.

2008

Completed our first major infrastructure project - the rehabilitation of the Enugu-Port Harcourt highway.

2012

Launched the Rural Infrastructure Development Program, bringing essential amenities to remote communities.

2015

Expanded our mandate to include urban renewal projects across major cities in the Southeast.

2020

Celebrated 15 years of service with over 150 completed projects impacting millions of residents.

2023

Launched the Digital Transformation Initiative to incorporate technology in all our planning processes.
